Saturday 27th June sees the second installment of Melbourne’s newest monthly underground club: MACHINE featuring a creme of local talent with Dj’s Andrew Till, Slieker and Anna Ce, spinning deep mechanical grooves.
MACHINE has been finely tuned for this months installment, focussing on giving the dj’s more time to play the music they want with longer set times.
All in the cool surroundings of MY AEON @ 791 Sydney Rd Brunswick, with it’s comfortable dance floor space, front bar /lounge area & outside garden courtyard with open fire place making this this perfect spot.

ANDREW TILL
With a DJ career spanning almost twenty years, Andrew Till has seen more genres and styles come and go than most of us can name. Starting out in the late 1980’s, he became known for fusing together many elements of electronic and experimental music. Via techno, trance, ambient, acid house, industrial, and psychedelic he is synonymous with an eclectic, varied spectrum of sound.
As one of pivotal forces forces behind the Melbourne techno/trance community, he established Melbourne’s first dedicated underground electronic label Psy-Harmonics in 1992 with Ollie Olsen has been a highlight at Australia’s outdoor parties from their inception in the early 90’s right through to today.
As well as regularly playing around Australia, Andrew has been a regular on the international circuit over the last fifteen years with tours to places including; Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, London, Sweden, Helsinki, Denmark, New Zealand, Germany, Greece, Switzerland, South Africa also including numerous gigs within Japan from the largest festivals & nightclubs, to the most intimate indoor and outdoor venues
Andrew is one DJ that isn’t afraid to experiment with new sounds and is forever pushing boundaries, this has earned him respect worldwide.
*This will be Andrew’s last Melbourne gig for two months before he head’s off (again) to play at Clubs and Festivals throughout Japan, including the Total Solar Eclipse Festival on Amami-Oshima, and at the Aurora Festival in Greece

SLIEKER
A career behind the decks spanning 16 years has taken Simon around the world, around the country and certainly inside every nook and cranny within Melbournes healthy electronic music scene. Talented and diverse, Slieker continues to forge ahead with a hectic schedule into 2009…
His prominent achievements have been a lauded 8 years throwing down at infamous techno institution Teriyaki Anarki Saki. Teriyaki one of the most respected techno clubs in the world, known for it’s quality, and crucible like intensity was where Slieker came to prominence.
Possessed with a balance of skill and sensitivity, Slieker draws upon the subtleties which can turn a set into a cohesive aural journey. Not only does he recognize such amorphous qualities as depth, scope, timing and intensity, he manipulates them as surely and deliberately as a shift in the pitch. And then theres the feeling with which he does it. With Slieker its personal, he touches people. In the simplicity of that assertion lies the strength at the heart of his djing. It;s not abstract or isolated, rather something borne of a relationship with the dancefloor. A relationship that often intensifies the energy in the room.

ANNA CE
Enamoured by unusual and psychedelic electronica at an early age, Anna Ce has been a key player in the Melbourne psychedelic outdoor and club scene for the better part of the 21st century. As one of the founding Members of the Soulquest Collective, Anna has worked with artists and producers hailing from all corners of the earth, and has had the privilege of collaborating with crews from all around Australia, including Rainbow Serpent, Tribadelic, Audiogasm (Cairns), Somatica, Maitreya, 3rd Ear and Royal Doof. In a departure from event promotion, Anna Ce has become widely recognised for her unique and quality blend of minimal and progressive tech in her dj sets. Playing support for such acclaimed artists as Kazu Kimura, Antix, Krumelur/ Kroppssprak, Sun Controll Species, Loopus In Fabula, Shadow FX, Tetrameth, Mike Callender, Dave Pham, Eat Static, Kaysey Taylor, Matthew Jonson and many more, Anna Ce has earned a reputation as one of Melbourne’s most exciting up-and-coming djs.
*Also this is Anna’s last gig in Melbourne for 6 months before she heads off overseas with bookings to play @ Stream Dreams in Japan and Arcadia Festival in France

Escape from Chaos this month features a rare live performance from electronic music innovator & Psy-Harmonics co-founder, Ollie Olsen. Joining Ollie on the night will be Psy-Harmonics’ Hesius Dome, the downtempo project of ARIA award winning producer Simon Polinski and Tempest Recordings stalwarts Garagee, Red Eye Express, Stickleback and Sunsaria.
