The Athens concert in Dada was a lovely evening. My heart-felt thanks to those who organised, attended, performed, worked and played hard :-) A thrilling atmosphere throughout the night, capped off beautifully by Captain Nick's eclectic Dj set. Great to meet and see Mani Deum and Empty Frame performing. I'll be adding pictures from the night shortly.

The Matter of Britain is released in a few days, though I won't have copies immediately. I'll put them up on my matthowden.com site as soon as I have them. Other titles are coming back in stock shortly too, and pre-orders for As they Should Sound will be taken at the same time. I might even send you them early ;-)
And finally a note to myself, just as a reminder (learn some sense, Howden) -Never get in a sports car going to the airport with a driver who drops a lit cigarette between his knees whilst in the fifth lane of a motorway full of trucks, who then bends down to find it whilst speeding up and reaching up to keep hold of the wheel, still chatting to you and looking across as you veer across lanes. (Though the aforesaid driver is probably shit-hot at a game of Twister ;-) You thought I looked pale with my naked ass out on the cover of Desire Rites? That was nothing, I achieved true translucent pale-English status on the road to Athens airport.
