I VOW TO BOYCOTT THE NEW YORKER FOR THE DIM WITTED OBAMA COVER.
They may have meant it as a satire - but it will only plant seeds of doubt and speculation in short sighted peoples heads - it was just plain irresponsible.

Satire....? I'm sorry, but anything making such a strong statement trying to tie together two huge topics like that is going to affect things. They act like they were so innocent in their explanation but they knew exactly what they were doing and what it would mean. People can be so self-indulgent and ignorant. I have never read the magazine, and never will after that.

Amen! I dont read the New Yorker myself - but could hardly believe that they would print a cover like that. I agree, they knew exactly what they were doing and the cause and affect it would have. Poo poo to them! ~simka
