This summer has seen a fourth project added to my slate: an oi album.

I have already written a few tracks, but this week I finished recording the vocals to one of the new songs - Face Reality. Check it out only here on MySpace. (We've also got a new Novacosm track coming soon ...)

The music and most of the lyrics for this track were written by a friend from Europe named Markus. I recorded all of the vocals in multiple takes in my home studio. Being able to record while alone is really cool, especially since retakes are free.

I am not sure what the band will be called, but I am really going to enjoy making such straightforward, classic tunes. Being able to collaborate with other musicians around the world is remarkable. Presently I am working with artists in 8 different countries. That's a real global village.

If you have feelings about the world, you should share those feelings, no matter what the cost. We must all exercise complete and absolute sovereignty over all forms of human expression. It is in this exploration of life that we will answer the greater questions, not in marching in line like a bunch of clones.

We have nothing left to lose. Everything is a clean slate soon. We must start now to define the future world, and create the cultures that will show the way for thousands of years to come. You cannot destroy the world you hate, but you can build the world you love. Yes, even now, even amidst the chaos. In the countryside the fields are green and the forests are timeless. The mountains wait for you to climb.

Rise to face the Sun and know that you have seeds of a higher self within you.
