Firstly please check the submission deadlines before enquiring:
Spring-summer edition; late January-early February last dates to contact with photo proposals/enquiries for a feature.

Autumn edition; early June, Winter edition; mid September.

Are you taking on models for cover shots?

We usually tend to pick out models from our database of models who've contacted us previously for cover slots due to the high amount of interest we recieve for these slots.

We are now only booking models as & when we start work on each new issue. So we will not be booking any models in until our Autumn '10 edition.

Are you taking on models for photo shoot spreads?

We do occasionally organize shoots for spreads but nowadays we tend to take on pre-done shoots for spread features so it's best to contact us with shoots you've already done for companies, sites, or shops that you'd like to submit.

We do work on a non-profit basis so these will be taken on as free contributions with everyone from the make up artists, photographers, you & the companies getting full credits on the spread.

We'll also throw in digital tear sheets for you all! & you'll recieve a free copy if you contribute with us.

How do you choose models for features?

With each issue we are now going to feature 1 model per issue as a feature &/or interview slot(s). We tend to book these in a few months in advance; i.e when we start working on the following editions content, as you can imagine we have quite an amount of interest in these slots so we are quite queued up at the moment. You can still register your interest on this post, and we will contact you when we have a slot available, please note that this could take a year or so due to the lenghtly interest in features.

As a model what do I get if I'm inside an issue?

If you are a model that we have booked on for a cover slot, a feature (e.g an interview with you on you & your work) or a contributed shoot then we will send you a free copy & digital tear sheets (if required).

If however you are a model who features in an image used as part of a company/designer/event feature then please contact us & we can provide you with digital tear sheets of the feature only.

As we are run on a non-profit basis we simply cannot send free copies to everyone, so feel free to grab an issue via our store or a stockist.

I'm a photographer & I'd like to get involved, what do you use tog's for?

Generally we use photographers for cover shots & photo shoots. With our cover shots though the photographer is usually selected by the model, this way they can use somebody that they are familiar with or somebody they've been dying to work with for ages.

We do like to use photographers for photo shoots though which is an area we've been including in our issues since issue 6 now. With these we are now taking on pre-shot shoots from photographers for inclusion.
These can be either fashion shots taken for companies or artistic shots that fit in with the magazine.

However with all photographers before we use you we must stress that as the magazine is completely non-profit we simply cannot pay for contributions at the present time, so it is all done on an unpaid basis, with you getting full creditation for your work inside the issue & a free copy when the issue is printed up & in stock (nb - please take note that this only applies to photographers that we use for the cover shot & any that we have dealt with directly for photo shoot spreads; all other photographers who's images have been used we can provide you with digital tear sheets only, again due to the non-profit organization that we run we simply cannot afford to give everybody a free copy).

Previously we have been sourcing our photographers through work of mouth & recommendations so if you would like to recommend somebody feel free to, otherwise simply comment below & we will add you to our list.
