Women are Fascinating.  Like a rose in it's thorny bush.  You can appreciate it's beauty from afar, or you can try to get closer to sample it's fragrance.

If you choose the latter, you're bound to get pricked by it's thorns.  It's just the nature of it.  And just a matter of time.

I suppose that the thorns are there to protect the flower.  Yet I am a patient gardener . . . there to nurture.  I'm not interested in plucking the flower and watching it wilt and  lose what makes it so beautiful to begin with . . .

But the flower knows no difference and protects against all.

And I, the patient gardener, cannot help but try to enjoy the fragrance up close . . . and so, I will experience the thorns.

You're sniffing around the wrong flowers my friend. There are plenty of flowers out there that are totally thorn-free....and smell just as nice. Don't blame the thorns Mr. Man, blame your attraction to what makes you bleed ;) For god's sake, find the number to a good....florist.

Keep up that mantra! Not all of us are nuts. We at times are drawn to "Mr./Ms. Wrong for us but at the moment will do" Everything happens for a GOOD reason even if you can't see it. Hang tough, look beyond the surface and at all times be your wonderful, open and trusting self. It will pay off! :)

I like your friend's line - find a new florist! Classic!

Continue to be patient but after a season and the roses still is to thorny after tender loving patients from the fine gardener- then you might want to dig it up and plant another flower in its spot- might I suggest buttercups....haha..best of lucky figuring women out because trust me we are nuts...

Thank you so much, "Granny Kim" . . . from Pulaski (how interesting) . . .

And oh . . . I will not try to figure women out . . . I'm just trying to figure out how to co-exist in harmony . . . ha ha!
