Two and a half years of music soaked in beer, sweat, and fun have brought us here.

Sid and Fancy is if not finished at least indefinitely suspended. 

Before you all get teary eyed and sad know that we feel it more than you. 

The people we've met, the bands we've seen and the places we've gone have all, no doubt, made a lasting impact on all of us.  If you're looking for music in the same vein as us make sure you check out all of the fine folks in the still vibrant Crass Roots North West.

Why do we stop you ask?  It's hard to explain.  Suffice it to say our little project has been terminally wounded and has recently struggled.  Good friends have moved on in life and we as a group have struggled to orient ourselves in a coherent direction.  Those of you who know us know what we mean.

Those of you who don't at least need to know that no single person is to blame. 

What's next?  We don't know.  We know that we are in no way done playing music, or even done playing music together.  Our future projects are uncertain, but exciting. 

Will there be a 'send off show'?  Absolutely, though when and where we just don't know.  We know we don't want to walk away without one more night of fury with all the great people we've met over the years so stay tuned. 

We want to thank all of you who have been there for us.  Friends, bands, and family have routinely supported us even when we felt that we were doing our thing on our own. 

Thanks for the bruises, welts, and exhaustion and we hope to see you again soon.
