With a sense of decency and history so palpable and inspiring John McCain showed he is aware of this great pivot point in history. At the Democratic Party party in Tucson that night I was effected greatly by two moments, the announcement of Barack Obama as President and the greatest and most important concession speech ever written.
I do not adore this speech out of an urge to gloat but because Obama did not strike that resounding end cord of history with his speech; that mantle was taken up by the patriotic and profound John McCain.
