HISTORY: Generifus started recording in 2005 and had its first show in Sept of that year. Two years later still playing shows, recording music. Sometimes lofi-acoutsic, sometimes liquidy-delay-drenched, always mellow trip out and earthy sounds. A very spiritual music project. Influenced by the Pacific NW.

RELEASES:

a meeting (2006) - self released CDR, early songs pre-vocals. lots of sound/recording experimentation. around 20 made. SOLD OUT

fall 2006/winter 2007 demo (2006/2007)- self released CDr, two editions. first with collage artand bubble wrap. second painted solid primary colors. first "song" songs (with structure/vocals) that were written and recorded. second edition had a few extra songs not included on the first. first edition: around 20 made, second edition: 10 made. SOLD OUT

soft climb (2007) - self released CDR recorded from winter-summer 2007. 10 songs, custom art on each sleeve and vintage magazine clippings included. some songs still played in live sets. about 30 made. ONE COPY LEFT

tshirts (2007) - first tshirt designs made in fall 2007 by Joe Waine. around 30 made on small shirts. STILL AVAILABLE

felt (2008) - self released tape/cdr packaged in felt. containing a mix of recent high quality computer recordings, lofi tape recordings, songs from a live radio show and several previously unreleased rare tracks from '06/'07. 25 AVAILABLE.

solstice songs (2008). will be released in the fall on CD adn tape. It features msuic recorded in anacortes, wa by myself with karl blau producing and playing. many people have said the songs are good!
