In other news, my supa talented daughter made me a book trailer for I Was a Teenage Popsicle!  Check it out on my myspace profile page or on youtube at http://youtube.com/user/airproductionsco.   (She has a couple other great ones up there, and more coming soon!)  Leave a comment about it here, and be entered into a new draw for a copy of I Was a Teenage Popsicle!  I'll post the winner sometime around the beginning of August!

Also, housepainting is done and I'm not so happy.  (I realize I kinda liked the puke yellow.  Sigh.  Miss the puke yellow...)

That trailer was awesome! I rated it! I'm surprised nobody else has yet! Ahh, California! I'm going in August! I can't wait! I just got back from NYC. It was so gorgeous there! 

Your walls were puke yellow? And you missed them? What colour did you paint them? My mom and I are supposed to paint my room relatively soon! We've had the paint forever!

Thanks muchly!  New York and California, huh?  Now that's the way to spend a summer!  It was the exterior of the house that was puke yellow, and we painted it a very traditional beige-y gray.  Big mistake...

Awwww! I think the outside of a house being pukish yellow would be cool! But then again, I'm eccentric like that. I want my house to be like.. BRIGHT blue or red or something. 

Have you ever been to St-John's, Nfld? There's this part where all the houses are vibrantly painted. I have a picture somewhere.. let me find it. ;) 


There were sooo many of them. 

And yes, NYC and Cali is the way to summer it up! I've never done anything with my summers and I had been putting aside all the money from one of my jobs, soo.. might as well splurge.

See, I love those supa colourful houses!  (Aw, the yellow one sorta reminded me of the puke yellow formerly on my house...)  But I stupidly let a colour consultant (aka the crazy colour lady) talk me into the beige-y gray--better for resale, etc., etc.  Sigh...
