De Nieuwe Vrolijkheid will release their new album "Blood on the Floor" on Willie Anderson Recordings/Konkurrent. The album consists of eight tracks that the band recorded last year with their friend and producer Henk Koorn.

Release date is set for March 12, 2007.

De Nieuwe Vrolijkheid is an experimental indie pop band from The Hague, The Netherlands and currently consists of Natasha van Waardenburg - vox, guitars, keys; Vincent van Gerven Oei - vox, keys, percussion, alto sax; Pim Verlaek - drums, percussion. Willie Anderson Recordings is distributed in Europe by Konkurrent and recently released Omar Rodiguez' (The Mars Volta) solo album and American experimental hip-hop artist Giovanni Marks aka Subtitle.
