As of today, February 8th 2007, singer and multi instrumentalist Vincent van Gerven has taken the necessary steps to end the band De Nieuwe Vrolijkheid due to personal circumstances. With this he ended the cooperation with Pim Verlaek (drums) and Natasha van Waardenburg (guitar, keys).
This means that the planned shows and the album release will not take place anymore. The split 7" single with Vox Von Braun will however still be released on the Subroutine label.
