We recently did a video shoot with Green Sky Media for a new web series called "The Price of Admission." The series focuses on local talent from various states, such as Indianapolis and Panama City Beach. We were fortunate enough to be selected for Atlanta.

We've had mixed experiences when presented with enterprises like that the folks at Green Sky Media offered; most of these enterprises died before launch or became shit storms of epic proportions. We are pleased (and relieved) that Price of Admission broke the trend.

We showed up a few hours early so we could perform the duties every performing musician comes to universally loathe - lugging gear (side note: I know that the concept of a punctual musician is mind blowing). Green Sky came rolling up in the A-Team van and immediately got down to business. A few lights here, a tripod there, and some razzle dazzle and we were up and running. We blew through the band takes, took a brief interlude so I could regain control of my face muscles and keep from puking Wendy's fries, then moved onto individuals. Nothing is quite as surreal as pretending to sing into a microphone with no power while having a giant camera in your face. I felt undressed. It didn't help that I was naked from the waist down. Not really. Count your blessings.

That's not to say that everything went according to plan but you can chalk that up to the "Blue of Noon" curse. We had a playback monitor combust during a take, Matt blew a guitar string (and simultaneously cut his hand) while pretending to play a lead part, and I narrowly avoided disaster when I nonchalantly chucked the mic stand into the camera's tripod base. I died a little bit right then.

We wrapped up the shoot and moved outside for photos, showcasing our sweat-soaked and mildly (heh) soft physiques.

It was a tough day but well worth the embarrassing display of our collective out-of-shapedness (if that's a word). We told Green Sky what we imagined for the video and they nailed it. We couldn't be happier. It really is a sight to behold and behold it you SHOULD. Check out them out here and see for yourself.

The show deserves every ounce of support you all can provide. Send a friend request to "The Price of Admission" and show support for our newest endeavor. Help keep local musicians from starving!
