hey its db witness calling from feminist spaceship...

finally posted some new songs up on my space...

 the first two up here are from our new recording 'it could be about girls' which is like a album, but a bit too short, but excellent considering it was recorded in under 8 hours...wonder what kate bush could manage in that time !

 id say this recording is a bit more 'arty' than the last, as we wanted to create more of a sense of space, dimensions, shadows, gaps than the first which was very immediate, colourful & childlike. in the space of three months our band got adolescent and cynical! i blame edie pain, nothing to do with me ! no. but there is love & light in this work, curious songs about healing, like the second song ' hurry hurry', which is our version of mz sojourn song...a band whom we like very much.

the third song posted up is from the brownie opera ep, and was always a song that i felt empowered me when we performed it& took me into an interesting space...i feel the recording also manages this. still keeping care home rock up there just because it s a good wholesome disco track that people may want to jig around to on a rainy day.

 both it could be about girls - released on our brand new fag club record label, and the brownie opera ep will be available at FAG club at dempseys on the 8th October, 6pm start. if you want a copy...

FAG club is a cardiff based do it yourself clubnite for queers and weirdos, or maybe just weirdo queers, other acts starring are Rae Spoon, Vale Poher, husbands & truly kaput& gender fascist dj's...we will have a raffle, and we will have cake...we will have you too hopefully.
