Hey Friends, Metallica fans & "BATTERY" Fans.....We in the "BATTERY" camp are thrilled to announce that GEORGE HARTWIG from Cleveland Ohio, has been chosen by the band members as our new Jaymz Hetfield..... taking care of lead vocals & rhythm guitar. George has spent many years in the trenches of the Cleveland Music scene & well as fronting the highly acclaimed Megadeth tribute..."DEGAMETH". What irony.....a dude playing Dave Mustain leaves the Megadeth band to become a Jaymz Hetfield....in "BATTERY". CRAZY!!!! But George always had his heart rooted in Metallica riffage & Hetfield vocals & now George finally gets to stomp across the US bringing METALLICA TO ALL...
George has played 6 shows so far with"BATTERY", and has done amazingly well. This Summer of 2009 check out "BATTERY": George, Ren, Phil & Laurence on tour through out the US...."Pounding out aggression, turns into Obsession, Cannot stop the "BATTERY".......
