Want you guys to take a look at this amazing film by my friend Gaylen Ross. It's an important piece of history that few are familiar with.

About the film.....

Hero or Traitor- The Jew accused of collaborating with the Nazis. Rezso Kasztner known as the Jewish Schindler, negotiated face to face with Adolf Eichmann, rescuing 1700 Jews on a train to Switzerland. Yet Kasztner was condemned as a traitor in his adopted country of Israel; accused as a collaborator in a trial and verdict that divided a nation and forever stamped him as the "man who sold his soul to the devil." He was ultimately assassinated by Jewish right wing extremists in Tel Aviv in 1957.

Director Gaylen Ross investigates this tale of murder, intrigue, and heroism through accounts of the inflammatory political trial, startling revelations after 50 years by Kasztner’s assassin, Ze’ev Eckstein, and a chilling meeting between the killer and Kasztner’s daughter, Zsuzsi.

Sounds like a hell of a story, I'm glad I didn't have to walk in his shoes, it had to be a gut wrenching experience to be in that situation, and a no win proposition to boot. 1700 people probably believe he's a hero, and that unto itself paints him with some light. Alot of good people had to do bad things in that war simply to survive, and that in my opinion is not a true reflection of an individual anyway. War is evil, it is not nice and that is lost on many that didn't go thru it. I'm definately gonna check this out.

..we miss you over here in germany....Schwienfurt to be exact...yes it means pig fort......that in itself is humor......You should see these guys when they get back from afganistan, you have the power to heal them!....come oh mighty one!....would love to see this film in new york.......your number 1 fan, {not a pyscho, well at least a dangerous one} ....A army housewife...........
