Der kanadische Filmemacher Pascal Payant war vom letzten Album der GOLDEN APES so begeistert, daß er den Song "Leaving Ground" unbedingt im Score zu seinem neuen Kurzfilm "Opium" haben wollte. Das Script stammt von der thailändischen Schauspielerin Piya Pinvatana und die Shootings fanden letztes jahr in Bangkok und Los Angeles statt.
Nach der offiziellen Premiere im American Film Institute in Hollywood diesen Sommer, ist das Werk nun auch online unter http://vimeo.com/5440926 oder opiumthemovie.com anzuschauen.'

The Montreal-based filmmaker Pascal Payant was so excited by the last GOLDEN APES album, that he requested us to contribute the song "Leaving Ground" to score of his new short-movie "Opium". The script was written by the Thai actress Piya Pinvatana and the shootings took place in Bangkok and L.A. last year.
