"Ark in the Flood" has always been a favorite song of .soulger. fans everywhere and Janet (songwriter/vocalist) wanted to share with us a little bit of insight about this powerful song:

"I actually began writing the song "Ark in the Flood" in 2000. I put it aside not knowing what would come of it. After 9/11, the words flowed effortlessly. I was terrified and I believe this was God's way of reminding me that I didn't have to be afraid. He was (and still is) my hiding place. Those deranged people behind 9/11 put fear in my heart but God replaced that fear with peace when I sang this song for the first time. I wanted to share it with you.......I hope and pray you will feel that same peace.  Janet"
