I haven't posted a new blog entry in awhile. So here's a new one for those who give a shit.

I dedicated the entire day to listening to tons of music i haven't had a chance to hear in awhile - (old and new )  :

Which led me to dig in the closet for old Death Factory  tapes . 

I was going through them and decided to put some up  on the bottem track(#10) position  on the Myspace player.  I'm going to leave  these oldies up  for a short time  ;  maybe two,  three weeks tops.

Alot of these were from '88-'95  and recorded on  boomboxes with the condensor mic!
I didn't move to 4-tracks until about '95. 

So enjoy .  Some is shit, some is ok ... whatever.

The first one up now is - "White Thrash". Will be up on the player- (August 23rd - September-7)


I recorded it on boombox in my basement  of the  Lakeview neighborhood  (around Ashland and Diversy Ave. )in the hot summer of 1988, here in Chicago.  This was my childhood home  and in those days we had a basement that you could open the windows (large windows) that were right near the sidewalk almost.  Neighbors and passerbys were not pleased I'm sure when I was recording stuff  and  jamming on guitar for hours at high volumes. It was just  too hot to keep closed.

Anyway,
It's just a primative track which utilized  cheap Casio Sk-1 through pedals  , guitar drone/ feedback , some metal banging on the guitar and stupid rambling, incoherent vocals. (i don't know or remember what the hell I was saying?!)

The one up now is - "Electric Storm -1"  (September -7- 21st)
One of the better tracks i like personally from the tape  "Insomnia -3 " .
Lots of loops , which is one of the aspects of Death Factory on many tracks , even still  currently in many ways.  Recorded in 1996.

Not sure when the third one of these 'oldies' are going up. I was going through more of them and not sure if its even worth it to transfer from cassette to cd-r. w'll see.....

Also,   working on new material . Which shouldn't be too hard.

The next cd (whenever that may be out??) is almost mapped out as i have extra leftovers from the "Prophecy of the Black Spider"  cassette box  and  the main track  will be similar to the Death Industrial  ,  w/ horror movie intro's  I have been doing live  since late Spring.
