Who Gives Kudos:

Wednesday, March 19, 2008

There’s no escape now! If any of us so much as sneezes, myspace tells all our ’friends’ about it. The trouble is, when I simply change songs, myspace tells everyone that I’ve added ’new’ songs, and then I get people saying ’Oh I thought you’d put up new songs! (yes I am looking at you, Dim).

Anyway, I thought I’d better explain: I recently spent two weeks with Boff and Neil from Chumbawamba where I/they re-recorded/ re-produced 16 tracks from my previous two albums. I have just put a few of them up, so when you get a ’Tracey Curtis has just added new songs’, and you see the same old titles, don’t be angry with myspace, or me, they are actually new recordings.

The idea is that I’ll be doing an album of brand new songs at some point later in the year too, but I have to say, I do love what Boff and Neil have done with this album. Whatever happens with it, I’ll die happy! Just not yet, I hope...

Found out about you recently from Chumba mail list. Bought your albums based on these. Love them all - diolch yn fawr. Can't download the Boff/Neil productions from MySpace. Great place Ammanford - famed throughout the world for the high quality of its anthracite.
