Hey guys,
Cornerstone was awesome. We got to hang out with and watch a lot of friends play great music. The highlights were Dignan, Ivoryline, and The Wedding. If you don't know the music of those bands, go check it out. It's awesome.

Thanks to Brittany Wheeler, Daniel's lovely wife, who has tons of family in Illinois, we have not had empty stomachs on this tour so far. Everyone has been so hospitable so far. So thanks to the entire Barnes family for letting us sleep at your houses, eat your food, and use your Internet. You guys are awesome. Thanks for having family in every town in Illinois :)
Tonight we kick off our tour with Dear Future in Du Quoin, IL, their hometown. This will be show number six in Illinois on this tour, so it feels like we've been here forever! We're pumped to get out on the road with Dear Future. They're a great band you should check out at
myspace.com/dearfuture.
Lastly, a music zine in South Carolina did a write-up about us. You can see it at
http://www.scenesc.com/2009/07/03/7-questions-with-the-rocketboys/. They'll be doing these weekly, so bookmark the page and visit every week for more updates.
Anyways, we'll have more later once more has happened. Oh yeah, and Daniel hasn't gotten hurt on this tour so far, so that's good. Cross your fingers it will stay that way.
Love
Mitch on behalf of...
