Capoeira is an Afro-Brazilian art form that combines elements of dance, martial arts, music, and acrobatics into a fluid game between two players. The Associacao de Capoeira Mandingueiros dos Palmares is an internationally recognized capoeira organization founded by Mestre Chuvisco. It is dedicated to the preservation of capoeira and afro-brazilian culture through education.

Marco Mercado is best known through his spoken word poetry performances, which have been heard all along the East Coast, especially on his home turf of Hampton Roads, Virginia. Multicultural audiences from George Mason, Duke, Old Dominion, the Embassy and many other audiences have been captivated by his spoken word prowess. He is a social studies teacher in Virginia Beach and has recently performed at FIND Dialogue 2007.

Two Warriors is a New-York based poetry duo that found life by bringing together stories of love, peace, family, tribute and tradition in their writing. In an effort to break down barriers and provide a sense of home for everyone through their performances, Two Warriors aims to involve the crowd, interact with the audience, interpret stories, infuse emotion, and inspire hearts and minds.
