Driftwood has been hard at work in various studio locations constructing their upcoming album "A Cold White Place," set to be released in Winter of 2008. The album will feature 7-9 songs that have appeared on previous live releases, but this time with the full attention to detail that can only come from sitting down for long hours in a studio setting.
To offer a preview of what the upcoming album will sound like, I've posted the newest track "Dark Ages" on Driftwood's page. The song is a rough mix and is still unmastered, but it offers a good idea of the new sonic directions Driftwood is taking and is a testament to the quality of work that can be achieved before reaching a BAC of .15.
Check Driftwood's page for more updates as they happen. The new album is proving to be the most solid Driftwood undertaking yet...
