Who Gives Kudos:

January 30, 2007 - Tuesday
I'm not saying all of this to get attention, quite the opposite. I feel the need to explain to everyone why I haven't been seeing or talking to anyone. The last few weeks have been a wee bit crazy. So here goes my explanation:

I have been dizzy for like 5 months and it turns out one of the meds I was taking had that as a side affect. But it kept getting worse and worse so finally I got frustrated and quit taking that med. Well then it got even worse. It came to a climax when I blacked out in my dorm. I called my mom up all freaked out and she came here to take me to the hospital. They said that the meds were too far ingrained in my system to have just stopped them like that and that if I did not take the medication things would get worse. So they sent me to a neurologist who cut back the dosage on the bad med and gave me some news ones that are actually applicable to what we had guessed my situation was and she also gave me some anitdizziness pills and ordered a MRI. So I go to get the MRI done and it revealed I have an enlarged pituitary gland. Nothing serious or deadly or anything BUT it's possibly a solution to the problems I've been having for as long as I can remember! *YEY* So now I have to get another MRI and some bloodwork done. I've been in and out of doctors and such for like a couple of weeks now with like a gazillion side affects and that's lame but luckily there is a very high likelihood that all of this junk will really help me. So that's why I haven't been going anywhere. I was sick to begin with and now on top of that my body is adjusting to like a gazillion different meds. If their are any questions go ahead and ask I only wrote this as a blog so I didn't have to explain to everyone individually it's a pretty long story.

I am glad that there is a brightness in your medical future! I know I was SO releived when I found out I had gallstones, simply because I was glad to know what was wrong with me.
