Hope's Generation is one of our newest friends on myspace, and they have some really amazing ideas to get people to listen to you.
Echo, who runs HG, wants to run a unified news exchange through HG's blogs. It's a fairly easy concept: people write blogs and send them into Echo, and Echo puts them up on HG. Once the blogs are up, they turn into open discussions, sometimes even debates, where anyone can freely share their opinion or knowledge on the subject given.
The idea is, if we all talk and learn together, the world becomes a more unified place. How many wars have been started by people sitting down and having reasonable and polite converstions? None that I know of, but I know a lot of them have ended that way.
It doesn't take much. Add them to your friends list and subscribe to their blog, and write a response to an article once you see one that interests you. If you want to see if people share your own opinion on a subject, write a blog and send it in to Echo yourself.
Earlier today I found out that Echo, who has given so much to his cause, is sick and in the hospital. He left HG in the hands of a friend, and now that friend is asking for all of us to help them hit 100 friends before Echo gets back.
I don't know when Echo will be returning, but I do know they need at least 55 more friends by whenever that is. That's not a lot of adds, but can you imagine leaving your cause while you are sick in the hospital and coming back to it more than doubling in size? If that isn't a welcome back present, I don't know what is.
So what do you think, can we help out a good friend of mine while he's in the hospital?

Peace and Love
