Hey Everybody!

I had some time and thought I'd give everybody an update on what's up in BFT land:

We've got some shows coming up, the first being this Sunday 3/1 at Room 710 with SICK PLEASURE, ROGERS PORN COLLECTION, BUZZCRUSHER, & ADRENALINE PIGS! This is probably one of the sickest bills I've seen in a while, lots of good bands to see, so come out and party!

Since the first thrash/tat kegger at Republic of Texas Tattoo was such a huge success, we've been asked to do another on April 4th and will be playing with our friends CAPITAL SCAM and HOMICIDES. Those of you that came out to the first one know what a blast it was, so come out again and bring your friends along, because this one is ALL AGES and FREE!

While were on the subject of free all ages shows, we'll be playing San Marcos for the first time in over a year at Valentino's Pizza on Thursday April 16th! Other bands on this show are TBA, but it will for sure be a good bill. For those of you that have never been to Valentino's, they easily have the best pie in SM and a great selection of beer to boot! As said before this show is also ALL AGES and FREE!

BFT is also about to start the recording of our new EP which should be out in early May. The new material we've been working on has been a blast to play, and we can't wait to start playing more of it live! There will definitely be a release show, so be on the lookout!



One note to end on, Felix has started a non profit foundation for musicians called United Musicians Of The World, and is currently underway planning the construction of an all ages venue/rec center/punk rock museum in Austin. Austin is a city with so much music and culture, yet we have noticed a decline in the scene over the past few years due to apathy and exploitation. UMOTW is looking to turn it all around.
