First of all, a big thank you to everyone who came out to support us at the Maverick Tent stage last weekend. It was our first festival experience with the new lineup, plus we were lucky to have the added talent of Laura Raggatt on violin and percussion. I'm sure anyone who's seen us live with 2 fiddles will agree that her presence in the mix and top notch performance make for an exciting gig. Dueling fiddles!

We played in the early evening on Saturday, while the sun was shining, on the same stage that Fairport Convention played the next day, in pouring rain. So the mood was fantastic, and we had a brilliant time. Even when the sound cut out during our last tune - 'Take Me Home' - the great atmosphere in the tent, with the audience singing and clapping while we jumped around the stage to Tom's drums made it probably the best song of the set for us. And when the sound came back we had just enough time to finish our set before the next act - acoustic Whitesnake (for real!).

For everyone who donated to our band fund by buying our single 'Black Dog', thank you. We're saving up our pennies to record another tune - 'Daddy's Gun' and should be there very soon. As we said on the day, the CDs are unique, and there will never be another run of the same kind signed by us. We hope you're enjoying the listen!

And one last thing,  Alan Cackett, who is the editor for Maverick Magazine and sponsored the tent is a very cool guy and real music lover so check out his mag online if you like, it's a spot for folk, country, bluegrass, gospel, blues, roots, and everything in between.  http://www.maverick-country.com/
