VERY IMPORTANT: Please change the name of your song to your email address, so that we'll know where to send it when it's finished.  If you're not able to do this, make sure and email us on myspace or at lastdropmastering(at)gmail(dot)com and let us know what your song is called.  If it's a wav or aiff file, be patient.  Uploading can take a while, but nothing compared to the mail.  Otherwise you can use your own server and send us the details, or use www.zshare.net and send us the direct link(it will take a while). If you have a good quality mp3 or m4a (no wma please) file you can even just send it to:
 

It will work fine for a free sample.   Please make sure the song has no compression or limiting on the master track. It should be as rough as possible, with a low volume.

Please understand that our load is heavy for free trials, and we'll do our best to get your song to you asap.



If you're mastering for a paid project, uploading the files as mentioned above(wav or aiff) is ideal. If you're unable to, send 16 or preferably 24 bit rough wav or aiff song files on a data cd. A regular audio cd is ok if you have to. Please don't use and compression or normalization on the final song mixes. Please use the smallest possible padded envelope to send it. If it's just one cd in a case, you can put 5 or 6 stamps on it and use the regular mail. PLEASE PUT YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS ON THE CD!!


For mixing as well as mastering, the best way is to send a data cd or DVD with the wav files for each song on it. Please make sure they're all exactly the same length, so that they'll line up perfectly. They should all start at the same point if nothing else. If you have an actual Pro Tools or Logic Pro session, you can send that as well. 24 bit files is best if possible.

NOTE: Whether it be a sample to hear our work or a paid project, our clients will always retain full rights and ownership of their music.  Last Drop does not and will not own any part of their client's music.
