Current mood: lonely
Category: Friends
In the last few weeks I have been getting aquainted with all of these really cool guys and gals I went to High School with and being around them after all these years makes me realize how much I have changed in the last 20 years. Some of the changes I like and others I do not! Being around Ginger and Jeremy has been pulling me back into reality again and making me realize that I am not the man I thought I had become. Ginger was always my best female friend and we had to part ways 9 years ago due to a misunderstanding and now we are hanging out again with her husband and new children and I have grown to care a lot about the family. Jeremy is this masculine man with a good head on his shoulders and really loves her with all his heart. Their children have a lot of talent and her daughter is only 5 but she loves Barry Manilow and knows words to many of his songs. It makes me want to go out and have kids of my own. For a while I may have to be content being uncle Richard again. Last week I went over there for dinner and while Ginger was making dinner and Jeremy was driving home, the kids decided to play restaurant with me as the patron. Travis (7) brought out a blank piece of paper and said it was the menu and asked me what I wanted to order, Allyssa (5) brought me out some pretend tea and served it with plastic fruit and pretend salad. Travis brough me a bill afterwards for 11 cents. It was the first meal I have had that brought tears to my eyes. We ate a great dinner after that Ginger had slaved away on all day and I was stuffed by the end of it. I knew then that I wanted to find a guy that I could do all these fun things with and maybe have some kids of my own. I'm tired of being the slut all the time, fun as it might be.

Thank you for your sweet words about my family. My kids really like you and I can see you are starting to get back that old "Uncle Richard" in you... Jeremy likes you too, he sees why you had aways been such a good friend of mine..because you are a kind person who cares about people. It is so good that you care so much about your mom.. it really is good for you to always be there for her when she needs you.

Just keep on moving forward..that is the goal!

Of course it was me... I am so proud of your decision to change things in your life.. you deserve someone who loves you for you and not just what you can "do" to him...

Kids are feally great to be around! They say and do the silliest things, and they are so funny! But I tell you what; I would not give a million dollars for the one I have, nor would I give a penny to have another one! They are work, but fun in the same ballpark!!
