Our first gig on the tour was just with Cat Hope and KFord, and was part of a music series entitled CHOPPA at a screening lounge above a cafe called PITCH BLACK in the Arab St district of Singapore. Abe Sada was augmented with local bassists ian Woo (visual artist by day) and grindcore bassist Mish. All seats were pushed into the middle of the room and the quartet played in the corners of this intimate venue. Lindsay Vickery also performed on melodian and Mas/msp, and the concert rounded off with a jam for all concerned. Sold a couple of CDs - the night went well. In between times, Cat went off and got her much awaited bass clef tatoo. Off to Tokyo tonight for a gig tommorrow night. Thanks to Dazza Moore and Lindsay Vickery for this gig.
