Who Gives Kudos:

Thursday, January 01, 2009

I'd like to wish everyone a Happy New Year. I do realise how hollow that sounds when it's simultaneously addressed to three thousand people, but the world's got enough joy in it for at least a few hundred of us to be fairly happy for some of 2009.

Also, my website signup (markwatsonthecomedian.com) is now working properly, so you can sign up to my all-new-just-about-to-happen Occasional Newsletter just by going to the site. You no longer need to worry about sending me your email address. You can just put it straight in and sit back and receive updates for the rest of your natural life. Do it!

And I hope your year will pan out nicely. Mine's started all right.

I have to admit that the whole 'message me your email address' thing did not seem terribly efficient... nice and personal though!

All the best for 2009 to you and yours Mr Watson. xx

I did try and join this newsletter nonsense earlier - but it didn't work.

Anyway, I did have a good start to the year - I broke my toe falling through an icy pond.

Good times.

I broken toe's not good. My mates status at 7am on Facebook this morning was "...has has a great start to the year, my parents are divorcing :(".

I'll be honest, I didn't leave a comment.

It has it upsides - I got lots of ice cream and didn't have to walk anywhere.
It did mean a visit to St Leonard's Hospital, Shoreditch with Grandma Death, however.
