On February 10, 11 syndicated minority cartoonists are going to be running their own versions of the same cartoon, protesting what I call the "two strip maximum." Most papers that do run comics starring minority characters never run more than two at a time, and we're told too often that adding one means dropping another. So in effect, instead of competing for all the spaces on a comics page, minority cartoonists compete for no more than two.
