Current mood: excited
That means its Breast Cancer Awareness Month! Here are some things you can do to support and make others aware!
~Wear Pink EVERDAY! Then, when people ask you why you are wearing pink so much, you can tell them.
~Wear a pink armband (that's what I do...)
~Get a Pink Ribbon Tattoo! (did that too...)
~Eat Yoplait Yogurt and SAVE YOUR LIDS! If you don't want to mail them in yourself, drop them off at the Newman Center (714 N Garden St), The GAP (ish...if you work there, there will be a box in the back), my apartment (Also at the Newman Center, in the back, the upstairs apartment, D), and [maybe] at WCFC, I still have to ask.
~Donate money to the Susan G Komen Breast Cancer Research Foundation, The National Breast Cancer Foundation, or your nearest/local Imaging Clinic, if they will take donations.
~Register for the next Race for the Cure or Breast Cancer 3 Day in your area, or start training for it!
~FEEL YOUR BOOBIES! And make sure your friends, guys and girls, are feeling theirs! The easiest way to protect yourself is to check MONTHLY for lumps and differences in your breast! (Make sure that its not around your period, though, because your breasts tend to be more tender and lumpy at that point in the month.)
~WEAR PINK! I know I already said that...
