I'm sorry. I just can't keep my mouth shut anymore. I am very verbal and outspoken about abortion (which is a VERY different issue, I just want to clarify before I get attacked for it, but also very controversial), but I have not been outspoken enough on the issue of gay rights.

Ever since the whole Prop 8 thing, I have not been able to get away from comparing this to the struggles that African Americans faced in the 60's, namely (imagine that) interracial marriage. If it weren't for the passing of THAT law, I would never have been born. Did you all know that when Prop 8 passed the people who had gotten married in California beforehand got their rights as a married couple overturned?

Even if you don't agree with me, at least listen to what this man has to say. I know you all waste hours upon hours online just like I do...give another six and a half minutes. Because I am a devout, practicing Catholic, and I see this as a human rights violation.
