Hi, I'm Simon Leung, but my friends call me Si. Very nice to meet you, and welcome to my MySpace blog! =)

Let's see, where should I begin?

I was born in Hong Kong in 1979. Too far? Ok…

Fast forward to 1985, I moved to America from Hong Kong with my father to pursue a new life. I have been in the San Francisco Bay Area ever since. Currently, I reside in Santa Clara, California.

I started writing a blog around the time when I first decided that I would give Internet Marketing a shot. As you can see, it dates back to around April of 2004. The reason I wanted to do this is that I wanted to keep track of my progress along the way. That way, you can see exactly what decisions were successful and which ones were a complete waste of time and money. You can learn from my mistakes, and I will have always have a reminder of what to avoid.

In April of 2002, exactly 2 years before I created this blog, I began working in Google AdWords. I started as an ad reviewer, going through 1000s of ads a day to make sure that they comply with Google's editorial policies. I then moved on to servicing advertisers via email and phones.

Beginning in May of 2003, I was one of two people to start the AdWords Optimization Team, and instantly became a leading member, contributor, trainer and quality reviewer of one of the highest performing groups in AdWords ever since. Recognized as a resource both externally and internally, I worked with 100s of advertisers with all kinds of problems and successfully helped them achieve their advertising goals.

During the next 3+ years, I continued to improve upon the performance of 1000s of accounts and even created tons of new campaigns for clients from scratch. I tested and developed countless strategies with my team and know the insides as to what techniques produce results.

I started working at Google before most people even know you can advertise on it. I have brought 1000s of new, targeted visitors to my clients' websites and cut their advertising costs in half literally overnight.

As you should already be aware, Google AdWords is arguably the most effective search engine marketing tool available today - but ONLY if you understand the system. Even mom and pop shops and small businesses can compete with huge corporations when you learn how to deal your cards right.

In the years of experience at Google and Internet Marketing, I noticed that there are many products about each respective topic, but none that combines both the power of Google AdWords with the potential of Internet Marketing.

This is why with the help of my mentors and friends in the Internet Marketing industry, I began brainstorming on ways that I can contribute to the world of Internet Marketing.

And boy, do we have some exciting things lined up!

With the support of my new associates, I have advanced far enough to actually be able to walk away from my stable and very promising career at Google!

That's right, I have retired from my job EARLY - leaving literally over $100,000 worth of stock options on the table - to bring to the Internet Marketing world what has never been brought before…

At first, I was unsure of my daring decision.

But immediately after my retirement date, I almost instantly became an Internet Marketing celebrity overnight - with some of the biggest names in the industry seeking me out!

As a matter of fact, within just 2 weeks into my transition into a full-time Internet Marketer, I have already became a:

  • Recognized expert among the top Internet Marketing gurus
  • Platform speaker at major Internet Marketing seminars
  • Contributor in major product launches by big name experts
  • Special guest on high profile teleseminar calls
  • JV partner in several new and upcoming projects
  • Creator of several more ground-breaking products of my own

And my friends, this is only the beginning. I'm glad that you are coming along with me for the ride!

Please hang in there with me as I continue to explore the strategies that will help me succeed in the world of Internet Marketing. Feel free to read my entries and subscribe to my blogs from the links on the left. And, of course, comments are always welcome!

Appreciate you stopping by, and I look forward to keeping in touch with you!

Aloha Simon, aka Si,

Similar to you my father immigrated to Hawaii from Hong Kong specifically from Macao, as a child.
So needless to say I was born a US citizen and was raised in Hawaii and Japan. I've spent my career in the Music, Entertainment Industry and am just starting to try to break into the Internet Market. I've just sent you a friends request and hope that you'll add me. I am also subscribing to your blog and hope you'll find the time to take a look at mine at your convenience of course. Also, there is a book called the Mau lineage published by the University of Hawaii East West Center about the Mau Lineage. Thanks for keeping a Journal of your journey through your career and I know that you'll only grow and prosper.
Hoping to be a future friend,
Daryl Mau

Hi Si - I think that you seem to have it made! Rich, young and handsome and dare I say
perhaps becoming famous too! Well done for making such a daring move to branch out from Google. You certainly are in inspiration. Keep up reaching for your dream and don't let anyone hold you back.
