Finally a new tour report in English, with a big delay. As you can see, it was written some time ago, but I never found a moment to get it online. Well, now we are back from the tour, and I can get all this done...

TOUR REPORT IN ENGLISH, PART II

It's been a few days since the last tour report in English, sorry about that. It's always a problem to find net connection and the time to write. We are sitting in the tour bus right now, outside the venue of Colmar in France. It's the 2nd of October and we have only 3 shows left with Evergrey on this tour. After those we have 2 headlining gigs in Germany, and then it's back home.

Let me tell you a bit of what happened since last time.

Split 26/09
Our first time in Croatia in a very "destroyed" but cool venue. The place was sold out, and we had a great show. We were given a full hour of playing time, so we added 2 extra songs to the set. Amongst other a cover of Blackened, which really created some chaos on the floor. Mosh pits and banging everywhere.

Evergrey as usual ruled the place, and after their show, they had over an hour of signing and photo session. That's the normal routine after shows. We also stick around at the merch stand and usually do a lot of signing ourselves. We met a lot of new fans on this tour, and it has been really overwhelming to hear all these good words. Thanks to all of you!!

Day off 27/09
We stayed in Split this day, and spent some good hours in the sun at the beach. Amazing to finally have some real time off. A swim, a bit of sun bathing, a nice lunch by the sea… that's life.

In the evening we took the ferry from Croatia to Italy. A 10 hour ferry ride at night time. So have a guess on what 15 metalheads do without a bed to sleep in for 10 hours at night on a ferry? You're right, insane reckless drinking. Drinking contest (with a proud Danish winner), UFO's spotted by 3 very drunk Swedish guys (reliable witnesses, hahaha), a merchandiser trying to carry a cute girl in his arms, but falling helplessly over (not a good score trick, believe me), and everybody passing out where ever they could (you should check some photos in the photo album).

Day off 28/09
We arrived to Milano with a good hangover, and this night we had to camp the bus at a camping site a bit outside the city center. Some stayed at the bus for a barbecue, and some went to the center for dinner and a drink. Fabio, Giorgia, Michele and I had a pizza near the Duomo (the main church of Milano, really really beautiful). After that we met with Tom, Henrik and Jonas of Evergrey and went for some cocktails. We asked directions to some bars, and had very bad instructions, so we roamed around for a while, stayed at one place, changed to the other… Listen to the best advice we had this night: Fabio asked some local young guys for a cheap good place to drink. "Yeah, just 100 meters down the street, best cocktails in town, 3,50 euro each." We hasted like happy pigs to the bar, only to realize that you couldn't sit there, and the cocktail selection was very limited. And of VERY shitty quality. Fabio had a fabulous Cuba Libre that ended life in a trash can.

Milano 29/09
Finally, the show in our home country, a day we had all been looking forward to.  We had very good friends coming from afar to see us, so it was a special night for us. Unfortunately, ticket sales were very disappointing, and even worse, there was a fuck up in the advertising, that said concert would start at 21. We started playing at 20.10, so as you can imagine, there weren't too many people in the beginning. Still, we had a great show and a great day too, and we met some new friends from Metal Hammer Italy, as well as some very nice guys from Live Italy. Hope to see you again soon.

A special thanks to Carmine, our most special fan and friend. Thanks for always being there!

Collombey, Switzerland 30/09
A small town and a small venue, but what a funny night. The people at the venue were really cool and prepared a great dinner (antilope steak) and some crazy afterpartying (Karaoke and Arm Wrestling, how does that sound?). An unspecified member of the touring bus, also had his own rock'n'roll moment in the catering (a small wooden bar outside)… some one figured out, thanks to the bumping sounds and moaning… and quickly 6-7 of us were gathered outside, trying to break in the catering. We failed, but there was a major applause for our guy when he got out of there, hehehe!!

The concert? Great fun, but not more than 80 people though. Funny enough, this night we had our best merchandise sales. Smallest crowd and we sell the most. I am still trying to understand the logic…

Paris 01/10
Our second time in Paris, and again we meet some good old friends. Phil, aka the Crazy Driver, from Underclass (the promoter of our debut album in France) came to see us. And
we had Italians in the crowd too - they seem to be every where for us.

The show was very good, and the audience gave us a very warm welcome. Around 300 people, and I am sure we got a lot of new fans this night.

Cheers
