I was taking 800mg of ibuprofen with my narcotics post c-section. It may not be okay for you to take it, or take that much, but it's worth asking about. I felt like I was in pretty good shape, pain-management-wise, for the two weeks I stayed on it after I'd tapered off the heavy stuff.

thanx to everyone who has sent their best wishes for lance. i apologize that i haven't had time to write back to each of you as i am trying to spend as much time with him in the hospital. i tell him everyday all of the friends who have called or e-mailed asking after him, as he has taken great solace in this during previous hospitalizations, although i think that he isn't able to hear me. there is no update yet and he's still comatose, but i will keep you posted when there is any news.

Lance and his music have played a big part in my life... probably totally unknown to him but he did stay at my house once and i'm sure i might have mentioned how much i loved his music and lyrics....his blog has been an inspiration and insight and has introduced me to some great music.... the world is emptier without Lance in it but his energy and enthusiasm lives on with his music and writing....love to those he left behind.
