I  got one of these about a year ago. Check the strangelove photo page for pics. Mine is white (the black is way cooler though!).  The GigRig allows me switch between several different combinations of stomp boxes by simply stepping on a button.  It places each pedal in a parallel loop so there is zero noise (unless the pedal itself generates it), and NO signal degredation. The switching is quiet and seemless.  It even  works with the effects loop on my amp. Mine has midi capability as well. Did I mention that it will also power your pedals?  Amazing!

After about a year of abuse it works like a charm.  The only drawback is the size.  You are going to need a hefty pedal board for the GigRig and your effects. But if you are into stomp boxes this is a must!
