Hello Readers,

It's been a long time coming but our new CD "Funny Day" is finished as far as mastering, graphics, etc. So it's out to the manufacturer soon. Then the task of getting it out to reviewers, radio stations and fans is soon to be the focus of my tunnel vision. And, oh yeah, a CD release party or two. If all goes as we want it to we'll be able to do a show with a full band for the release party. We'll probably also do one as the duo.

We brought in many friends in to perform on the CD with us. That was a real pleasure. We're so lucky to have so many talented friends, old and new. I'll list them all when the CD is here. Of course they're listed on the CD and pics of all of them are there too. And, wait till you see the cover......it's a beautiful, surrealistic painting by our friend Jane Smaldone.

There are 13 songs, most of which we've been playing out for a while now. We'll be posting little stories about the creation of all of them on our website and maybe on myspace too.

I've got this plan to offer the CD for pre-sale on our website (www.birdmancini.com) but that remains to be seen. It's kind of daunting to deal with all the business of music. Sometimes there's so much of it I forget that I'm supposed to be creating, enjoying and performing music.

Actually, I'm already thinking about the next CD! That's always the way....
