I would like to personally apologize to everyone who was looking forward to seeing us this spring, but much to our own dismay, we've been forced to cancel and reschedule our North American Tour. As some of you may have heard, I underwent emergency surgery on April 24th for a perforated ulcer, and despite my will to play, my body was been dangerously weakened from the surgery and resulting hospitalization.

Unfortunately, after consulting with my doctor, I have been forced to accept that my recovery (aka powering up) will take approximately 6 weeks, including 2-3 weeks of severely limited physical activity (i.e no rocking out). Therefore, we've had no choice but to reschedule all of our live dates within the next 6 weeks (i.e. our entire first tour). I know that the constant shuffling of dates is disappointing and confusing, and believe me, no one is more frustrated than we are. Dave and I were looking forward to this tour more than anyone else, and we had been counting down to it as if it were Christmas morning.

Our new, sadly more realistic goal is to we return to playing live in mid-June. Our next live show will be at the Music Waste Festival here in Vancouver on June 13th, with a new, never ending tour beginning June 24th. This tour will Christopher Cross North America for the rest of 2009, so stay tuned for many more dates to be announced. To quench your thirst for rock, we will soon be posting online a full live set from our February 7th show at the Cobalt here in Vancouver. The footage is very raw and there is absolutely zero sound editing, so it is 'just like you were there'. Feel free to boo into your computer screen for added realism.
