Just figured I'd drop by and give all of you folks an update on what's happening our way.  First and foremost, Shaun and I are putting time toward the working copy of Buried Beneath.  In that, we're mainly focusing on getting the film cut down a bit.  But we're also focusing on all of the voice overs, and quite a bit of sound effects before we send it out for score.  It's just going to make more sense when we pass it on, if we've done as much up front work as we can.  Which I'm sure that we'll still do post work on it after it's sent out, but we hope to have the Lion's share of the work done before it goes out for score.  Many kudos to Shaun for putting together this piece, as it has taken some time to raffle through almost 33 hours of footage. 

Next, we've decided to change the name of Through the Looking Glass, Darkly to Strange Reflections.  After Mike, the creator, had told me that the name, Through the Looking Glass, Darkly was taken-I suggested maybe looking at another title.  Luckily, Mike already had another title ready to go-Strange Reflections.  And that title is not taken at all.  So that will now be the name of the full length film that we're to start shooting by the end of August.  We actually have our first official cast meeting this coming Sunday at 4 p.m. 

Then that leaves Defiance and Justice for the Jedi-which are both Star Wars fan films.  I've actually spent a decent amount of time this past weekend creating a huge sound bank of sound effects for those two pieces.  Which I did grab a couple sound effects that will probably filter into Buried Beneath also. 

So the sound placement on Defiance will start this week, but we'll also be working hard to get the set more finalized for Justice for the Jedi shooting within the next couple weeks.  I plan on putting up some of the photos of the construction phase of Justice for the Jedi today.  And I also think it would be fair to say that we started working on the sword fight for the Highlander fan film that we hope to shoot this Fall, this past weekend also.  We've got a ways to come with that, but we still had a great workout and have already put some moves together.

Outside of that, we hope that everyone's well out there.
