Tracy Lawrence would like to thank the many fans who expressed concern for his safety due to his planned appearance at the Big Valley Jamboree in Camrose, Alberta last weekend. On Saturday, Aug. 1st during Billy Currington's performance, straight-line winds destroyed the stage, injuring several fans and performers, killing one. Our hearts go out to those injured and we hope for their full and speedy recovery. Our thoughts are with the family of the lone fatality at the event. Tracy was performing in Sweet Home, Oregon on Saturday and received word that his Sunday show had been cancelled.

One of the times I'm grateful for tour schedules - seeing he had a show in OR meant he couldn't have been in harm's way in Canada.

I followed this story all weekend as soon as it broke and my heart goes out to the family of Donna Moore as well as everyone injured including Billy & Kevin Costner & their bands. This may sound corny but I pray for Tracy, his family & everyone at TLE---everyday but esp when they are on the road. Things like this remind us that life is precious and short and we should never take anything for granted but make the most of each day and live it like it's our last and most importantly, to put all our trust and faith in God. Even in tragedies like this it reminds us that God is with us always, every second of every day and his love and mercy for us surpasses anything we could comprehend.

Hi Beth~
You don't know me, but I just wanted to tell you that was a really nice post.
I see you understand that when you feel impressed to pray, better do it.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to all involved in the accident. Glad all the singers were all released and are heading home. So sorry to hear about the one fatality. God bless their family!! Glad all is ok with you Tracy and the band!! What a shame this had to happen. Pop up storms hit here in PA too they can be wicked. Mother nature even meaner at times. God watches over us as he can one never knows when he will call us home.

We never know when our time here is up, we just have to be ready to meet our Lord . I pray for the healing for those that were injured. And I pray also that God will send his comforting arms of love and compassion and surround the family that have lost their love one. And thank you God that you are still in control. God Bless You All And Keep You Safe As You Travel.
