It's been ages since I've written anything here.. doubt anyone reads... nonetheless pen it down I shall

Listening to a sermon just 2 weeks back really challenged what I am doing right now to a whole new level. I have been sharing...
"Believe! Have hope! You can do it!"
Well half of the youth are having their major examinations this year. That's why the jaiyou push is on =) And so, someone said.. "You can ask a pastor to teach you about Genesis to Revelations but ..." well he was sharing about knowing our calling and purpose in life to the young ppl. Needless to say, the "But..." really upset me.
Then I started to think. Well instead of being upset, I might as well try it myself. It's been 8 years mind you since I have had the need to memorize anything like history or maths or Literature

So I thought to myself. "Just do it " .. and so here I am work during the day and night.. AND
burried in books in the wee hours.. studying!!! hahaha..
Lesson learned?
1 If what we say do not provoke the people to tears OR anger
it ain't effective. [ Check out John Wesley's adv. to his ppl]
2 I serve a Great Big God!! well I realized that studying is
really loads of fun - of course as long as I am not the one
sitting for the papers.

3 We're never too old to learn what the younger ones are
learning in order to impart and impact their lives. Be the
pillar of encouragement and source of help .. that we
potentially never had when we were in school

With this here's the update here

Youth now has a committed and passionate teacher called Kenneth. He is now holding tuition classes for the students in our youth. Working towards a place where we can reach out to the youth through edu help. So it's really a great thing. Nothing new under the sun but truly a source of inspiration and change for the people here.
Hmm... 3 new souls added last sun !!

Well why do I need to study up to help teach since there's a tuition teacher here?
We all have different strengths. SO although Bio and Chemistry ain't something I can assist in.. I have to use my strength and teach what I love... Litreature..

Faithfulness is not maintainence.
Faithfulness is growth.
Growth in all that has been entrusted to us.
So it has been sleepless nights here in Ipoh.. but awesome days now and ahead!!
Hope yours is too
