Current mood: frustrated
Having advised my friend, one 15 another 22 .. has been and still is a trying thing to do ..
Why? because the guy is 15 years of age and the girl is 22. Don't get me wrong. I am certainly not against age difference in relationships.. it's just frustrating when the guy is just.. well not matured enough for this relationship. To him, being in a relationship is to be loved and to love is physical affections alone. Staying best friends is a separation of a real friendship.
Tell me.. whoever is reading this. We live in this society that deems freedom of love as " the liberty to do anything with anyone anytime we want to".
How is this then true?
True freedom is enjoyed within the perimeters of safety. Governed by true love. True love that seeks only to protect and has the best of both parties in mind.
Many feel that having physical intimacy with anyone at anytime is the key to end life's solitude.
How does one then see the truth when one is looking through the stained glass of life?
