Who Gives Kudos:

Saturday, April 08, 2006

well well well, very good friends.  it's hard to believe that after not making a post in months that people have responded and quickly i might add!

here's what's happening:

we have all permanently relocated to Springfield, MO.  i am living in a loft apartment right off the square in downtown Srpingfield.  the apartment i live in is and will be entirely used for minisitry purposes.  we are currently remodeling and fixing up our home to make it completely visitor welcoming.  we currently have a stage, some lighting, and a sound system that can accomadate for worship services, practices, and concerts.  we are working to build a kitchen that is large enough and equipped to feed a multitude of people.  the main basis for this "outreach" if you want to call it that, is the feeding ministry.  it is a continuance of a feeding ministry already established in Branson, MO.

The Vision

part of our vision is to use this building to be open 24 hours to take in people, feed them, care for them or whatever.  we have only been here a few weeks and it's amazing what God has done already.  apart from remodeling, discipling, reading God's word, and having praise and worship, we have already began to feed people in the surrounding area.  it's awesome!  all i can say is that Mama Linda sure knows what she is doing!  it is an amazing feeling to provide a meal for someone who would have otherwise been without.  when provide a free meal to someone, we say that it's from Jesus.  it's amazing to see there reactions.  from people coming in off the street to taking bread to the homes of those who have no means of travel...it's awesome.  God has started a huge work here, and there is just too much to write about it for now.  however, i will keep you updated.  i have decided that it is good to write.  it's edifying and encouraging one another and there's nothing wrong with that!

Hey Guys,  Wow I am so proud of all of you!  So let us know when you are settled so Dan and I can come for a visit!  The girls in NC are really being blessed for feeding all those skater kids... I don't think it will be too much longer before they will have their own park. They will want A Last Hope to do the grand opening concert!

Keep feeding people, keep sharing what God gives you and keep seeking after HIM with everything you have.

Love Always

Mamalinda

Hey, guys!

I'm so glad to hear that you guys are getting into serving God and others. :) I remember days long ago when I prayed that God would come before music for all of you guys in this AWSOME band... and I'm really excited to see some ministry come to Springfield as well. I'm here near Malibu, CA now... doing photojournalism and video game testing (so that I can pay for this equipment), and I was just thinking about you guys the other day... I miss hanging with you, Bryant and I hope to meet any of the newer members of the band. (I only know the old group from the basement of that girls house... :S) anyway ttyl and let me know if you guys need anything from out here in SoCal.
