We’re hard at work putting together our exciting new Fall print issue, and we want to put your art and photos in its pages!

We are looking for art to go with the following articles:

- Media Watch: Portrayals of gay people in the media

- Dear D: Focus on domestic violence

- Special Feature on Hair: Fashions, stereotypes, and charity organization Locks of Love

- Special Feature on environmentally friendly shopping

- Special Feature: Urban Fiction – also known as “street lit” or “ghetto books”

- We Are Family: “Life Without Dad” – all about growing up without a father

- Special Feature about girls and gangs: girls hurt by gang violence and girls in gangs

- Food Corner: Soul Food

You can submit a piece of art, a photograph, or a more decorative element, such as a border or pattern, inspired by the above topics. These articles are for our Fall 2009 print issue, so send in your work as soon as possible! Email your images to Ella at devintern@teenvoices.com.
