Yeah, every once in a while I wish that I still lived in Kingston so I could check live shows in New York and Michigan and stuff. I still really miss that radio station broadcasting out of Watertown, those mothers seriously saved my soul with good Metal and Rock & Roll for the four years we lived there. I'm a proud Canadian but I'll be the first to point out that our radio stations all have balls resting on their chins as they mostly suck real hard, thank god for university & college radio!
 

Yeah, personally I don't waste my time listening to regular radio anymore. I can't even remember the last time I did. We occasionally do a college radio interview here and there because as you pointed out....that's pretty much regular radio's only savior. I bought Sirius (now SiriusXM) satellite radio about 4 years ago and have never looked back. It's waaaaay better than what you'll hear on the old FM/AM dial! It's not free of course, but as they say you get what you pay for. Besides 13 bucks a month isn't really all that bad these days. By the way, I don't work for Sirius....lol! Excuse the commercial - that's just how much I enjoy the service.
