It's been almost exactly a year since we dropped our debut album and we realized last night that we're down to the last 50 or so copies from the first 1,000 that we pressed. I can't believe that over 900 Prey for Sleep CD's were put into circulation in the past 365 days... To everyone who picked up a copy of the album, reviewed the album, or put it on their shelves, we can't thank you enough. Honestly, it means the world to us, and our appreciation knows no ends.
If you're going to buy a copy of our album, please make a note that the only people who have authorization to sell physical copies of the album are us, Waterloo Records, and Encore records. There are a couple of websites selling our shit right now that don't have any right to, that aren't compensating us for the sales, that are selling the copies that we so naively sent out for reviews and label consideration. These are people who prey upon the ambitions of eager musicians, they are the epitome of everything evil in the music industry. Support independent music, not it's demise.
