I first came across Michael Brecker in the 70's when he did some stuff with Pat Metheny and Joni Mitchell. I still remember how it knocked me out. Really sad to hear he's gone.

Tony,
I learnd of Michael from your page about 6 months ago,
I went and checked him out on the net and listened to alot of his work..
and as you say he was a great man with a great musical talent.
I am sure he is blowin' that horn again up there with the greats.
It is always a sad day when we lose Icons such as Michael.
My condolences to you, and all of his fans and family
