i cant remember where i left off before, but thursday went well. the doctors opened the cast up and looked at the grafts. they are grasping nicely and it's expected to keep getting better. they also looked at the arm and hand today, and the examiner was "impressed" with how well things were going with it, so that is good news as well. they still havent given an estimate on when she will be released, but hopefully monday. *fingers crossed*
the only downfall is they said she will be in physical therapy for probably a year, and that she probably wont gain feeling in her arm and hand for 1 to 2 years, possibly never. :( but, i think thats just surface area, but i could be wrong.
her father came up wednesday night after about a 13 hour drive from cinci. looks like he's leaving today, but her mom is expected to stay til at least saturday... maybe a day or 2 more.
myself, i am back at work today. i will play at bunker this evening, and then head back up to the hospital in the late morning. then, ill be back in the late evening to head to the wolf + lamb party to play from like 1 to 5 or something like that, hang out for an hour or so, then head straight back to the hospital. if she is going to get released for sure on monday, ill stay the night up there. if shes not getting released til tuesday or later, i will be at work on monday.
